Positive Puberty

Today Room 10 & 9 have a session with a puberty teacher. We learnt about a lot of things like where our hair grows and when girls start to get period and all those puberty facts. It is very important to know about your puberty so we don't get confused of scared when we get it well we are growing up. Thank you to the puberty teacher for coming along and teaching us about growing up and how our bodies are changing.

4. From Grass to Glass - More maths

Today for Maths, we had to use our knowledge of reading rules and apply this to help solve
1. how much milk is made at each farm
2. the distance it takes from the farm to our tables

It was very tricky at first, but once we figured out that we had to READ and UNDERSTAND ALL the information, then it was more easier. Mrs Faalili encouraged us to keep trying to work it out.

It's a good thing we were allowed to use calculators - because that is A LOT of milk and A LOT of travelling!
