Home Learning

At Glen Taylor School we are still rocking and learning! Everyday we meet together to talk about our learning, the work we're doing and to say hi to everyone. We miss being at school but we also know that it's important that we listen to the Prime Minster's instructions and stay home.

Here we are in our 2:15pm chat talking and sharing our learning from the day. We were also giving Mrs Faalili some of our ideas for things that we want to do next week's learning. Today we had a un art activity to do and some writing. We're lucky that we're still working and learning.

We love sqaush!

For Kiwisport, we have been learning how to play SQUASH! This is our first time ever learning how to play squash and it's so much fun!

When you serve, you have to make sure it hits the wall above the middle line. And then you go for it. One bounce on the ground only. It's so much fun! Check out our photos.

 

We are different - but the same

This week, we have been learning about what makes us unique - but also, what we have in common with others in our class. We're really proud of our work because we know that we are special and our writing reflects that. One thing that we are really surprised about is that we have more in common with each other than we thought.

Welcome to 2020

Hi everyone and welcome back to 2020.

This year, Room 9 is a Year 4 & 5 class with a bunch of great learners. We have lots of different cultures in our classroom and lots of things that make us different, but also lots of things that we have in common. We're excited to learn lots this year and we are looking forward to having lots of fun!
